Steel Making Plants:
Continuous casting machine, Electric arc furnace, Tunnel furnace, Fumes dedusting plant, Row material handling, Vacuum degassing systems, Scrap yard plant, Water treatment plant.
The automation part consists of 12 – 15 PLC’s each with several hundreds I/O , special cards for communication, encoders and regulation. The PLC’s are networked and controlled by PC based HMI. The process is controlled by PC based Level 2 system (recipes, reports and process control).
Steel making process control consist of:
- Various regulation loops such as:
– Flow control (all kind of gas & fluids)
– Liquid steel level control at mould and tundish
– Pressure control
– Arc current regulation (hydraulic and electric actuators)
– Temperature control - Various positioning loops using encoders and drives
- Material weighing, dosing and transport
- Product tracking and storing
- Quality control system


Rolling mills :
Reheating furnace ( Walking beam furnace), Mill speed control, auxiliary services, shears & cutting devices, Finishing area, Water treatment.

Steel rolling process control consist of:
- Temperature control loop in reheating furnace
- Speed control of rolling stands
- Cutting devices with short response time
- Material tracking and counting thru the process
- Material transport, packing and storing.


Process galvanizing lines :
Entry area, Process automation , Air knife, Skin pass, Exit area, Water treatment.
